Drive Belt

Inspect serpentine belt length scale on belt tensioner. If belt length indicator is beyond limit, install new serpentine belt. No adjustment of this belt is necessary.

Inspect belt tensioner as follows:
1. Start and operate engine for 5 minutes.
2. Operate engine for 30 seconds, then recheck belt tension.
3. If tension is not within limits, check belt and tensioner and replace as necessary.
