Repair Information for Lighting System
Models:
1984-86 Chevrolet Berlinetta
The 1984-86 Chevrolet Berlinetta uses a relay-controlled lighting system. Two major components of the system are the Lighting Panel Switch (P/N 1995265) and the Relay Module (P/N 1115920). The supplies of complete repair units for these components have been exhausted at GMSPO and AC Delco. In addition, the factory repair service previously offered by Delphi-E for the Lighting Panel Switch has been discontinued.
Lighting Panel Switch Repair
To provide continuing service, a factory authorized repair service for the Lighting Panel Switch has been established at Repro Parts, Inc. If a Lighting Panel Switch is determined to need repair after diagnosing the system according to the vehicle Service Manual, it may be shipped to:

Relay Module Repair
The Relay Module contains a total of 7 individual relays. A service replacement relay (P/N 10026663) is still available at this time for any of the following relays. Locations are designated on the cover of the module.
^ Courtesy Lamps Relay
^ Right Turn Relay
^ Left Turn Relay
^ Park/Tail Lamps Relay
^ Headlamp Relay
The above 5 relays are identical and the same service part services any of them.
Service replacements are no longer available for the following relays
^ Flasher Select Relay
^ Beam Change Relay
The above 2 relays are identical. To replace either of them, or to replace other parts of the relay module, the owner may need to locate a used unit.
