Adjusting Front Side Door Window (Typical):





ADJUST
1. Window up or down at front
^ Loosen nut (45).
^ Adjust up stop support (44).
^ Tighten nut (45) to 10 Nm (89 lb. in.).

2. Window up or down at rear.
^ Loosen bolt/screw (151).
^ Adjust rear up stop and tighten bolt/screw (151).
3. Window parallel to weatherstrip assembly.
^ Lower window part way and raise back to within 25 mm (1 inch) of weatherstrip assembly.
^ Loosen nuts (22).
^ Adjust channel assembly (21).
^ Tighten nuts (22) to 10 Nm (89 lb. in.).
4. Window forward or rearward.
^ Loosen nuts (27 and 29).
^ Move window forward or rearward.
^ Tighten nut (27) to 10 Nm (89 lb. in.).
^ Tighten nuts (29) to 27 Nm (20 lb. ft.).
5. Upper edge of window inboard or outboard.
^ Loosen nuts (29).
^ Move jackstuds in or Out using an allen wrench.
^ Tighten nuts (29) to 27 Nm (20 lb. ft.).
6. Stabilizer assemblies (51).
^ Raise window to full closed position.
^ Loosen bolts/screws (52).
^ Apply slight pressure outboard on window at belt.
^ Move stabilizer assemblies (51).
^ Tighten bolts/screws (52) to 10 Nm (89 lb. in.).

INSPECT
^ Window operation and stability.
^ If window binds, move stabilizer assemblies (51) inboard slightly.
^ If window is unstable, move stabilizer assemblies (51) outboard.
^ If stabilizer assemblies (51) have been adjusted and window squeaks while returning to up position, lubricate outside rearview mirror applique window channel.
