Left Front Door Power Window Binding or Not Functioning (Replace Power Window Motor or Attaching Screw)

This bulletin cancels and supersedes bulletin 331064. Please discard bulletin number 331064 (Group Reference 10 - Body).
Condition Some owners may comment on the left front door power window binding or not functioning.
Cause The door power window motor binds due to contact with door inner panel.
Correction
For vehicles built before VIN breakpoint RY135924:
Replace door power window motor, P/N 22155408. Refer to "Window Regulator Motor" on page 10-6-23 of the 1994 Service Manual.
For vehicles built after VIN breakpoint RY135924, use the following procedure:
1. Remove door trim panel, refer to "Front Door Trim Panel" on page 10-6-7 of the 1994 Service Manual.
2. Remove enough door water deflector to access door power window motor.
3. Install door power window motor attaching screw, (M4 x 0.7 mm x 7.0 mm), P/N 11509208, to the threaded hole of the door power window motor flange next to the motor wire harness connector.
NOTE:
Access power window motor flange through motor wire harness connector hole in door inner metal.
4. Install door water deflector, refer to "Front Door Water Deflector" on page 10-6-9 of the 1994 Service Manual.
5. Install door trim panel, refer to "Front Door Trim Panel" on page 10-6-7 of the 1994 Service Manual.
