Accessory Signal: Description and Operation
When the Electronic Brake and Traction Control Module (EBTCM) initiates an "Acceleration Slip Regulation" event, the "ASR Active" signal line is grounded through the cruise control cut-off relay. This causes the voltage in the circuit to drop to zero or near zero volts, indicating to the
PCM that a traction control event is occuring, and at the same time, turning the "ASR Active" light "ON" (in the instrument panel).
