Troubleshooting Hints - Base Cluster
Perform before beginning System Diagnosis1. Check Fuse 9 by operating the Rear Defogger and observing the indicator.
2. Check the bulbs.
3. If more than one indicator is out, check the battery voltage and ground inputs common to all affected indicators and gages inputs.

^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check (Refer to "Diagnostic Aids/General Troubleshooting Procedures,") Diagnostic Aids
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (Refer to "Diagnostic Aids/General Troubleshooting Procedures,") Diagnostic Aids
