Camshaft Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

The Tech 1 scan tool will display camshaft position sensor data as "IGN Control Cam Signal." As the sensor pulses the scan data will switch from 0 to 1. All camshaft position sensor data should he checked at idle. An error in the camshaft position sensor circuit should set a DTC 17 and using the chart will find the cause of the error.
