DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR

Remove

1. Door window regulator.

Inspect

Inspect door window regulator for a counterbalance spring. Beretta styles use counterbalance springs, Corsica styles do not. Proceed to step 2 if a counterbalance spring is present. Proceed to step 3 if a counterbalance sprrng is not present proceed to Step 3.






2. Drill a hole through the door window regulator sector gear and backplate, and install a bolt and nut to lock sector gear in position. Do not drill hole closer than 13 mm (1/2 inch) to edge of sector gear or backplate.

3. Door window regulator motor attaching rivets from the motor side of the assembly.
4. Door window regulator motor.

Install

1. Position the new motor to regulator back plate.






2. Door window regulator motor rivets by collapsing the end of the rivet with a ball been hammer.
3. Remove the bolt that was installed previously to secure the sector gear to the back plate.






4. It may be necessary to grind a portion off of the sector gear to provide space to remove and install the remaining rivet.
5. Door window regulator.
