EGR Valve: Service and Repair

EGR Electrical Connector:

EGR Valve Flange Bolts:

EGR Valve And Gasket:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the EGR electrical connector.
2. Remove the EGR valve flange bolts.
3. Remove the EGR valve and the gasket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. With a new gasket, install the EGR valve.
2. Install the EGR valve and the flange attaching bolts.

Tighten
^ Tighten the EGR valve flange attaching bolts to 2.4 Nm (17 lb. ft.).
3. Install the electrical connectors.
