Sealing Washers

When servicing a fitting that utilizes sealing washers, note the following:

^ When installing sealing washers, keep dirt and foreign material from getting on the sealing surfaces of the washers or block fitting. Clean all sealing surfaces with a lint-free rag.
^ Do not reuse a sealing washer.
^ Sealing washers do not have to be lubricated prior to assembly.
1. Install sealing washer onto block fitting. Washers must bottom against surface of block fitting.
2. Hold block fitting in position. (Be sure the sealing washers are seated). Tighten attachment bolt or nut.
