EGR Valve: Service and Repair

Description:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the EGR electrical connector.
2. Remove the EGR valve flange nuts (1).
3. Remove the EGR valve (2) and the gasket (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. With a new gasket (3), install the EGR valve (2).
2. Install the EGR valve and the flange attaching nuts (1). Tighten the EGR valve flange attaching nuts to 26 Nm (19 lb ft).
3. Install the electrical connectors.
