Key Reminder System
Important: If key "Chime" remains ON when the drivers side door is open, even after removing the key from the ignition lock. Remove and reinstall lock cylinder into the steering column assembly.
NOTICE: Inspect key reminder plunger for damage. If damaged or bent refer to "Standard
Steering Column Unit Repair (SIR)" and "Tilt Steering Column Unit Repair (SIR, Floor Shift)" plunger replacement.
