d. Differential Case Disassemble

- J 22888 Puller
- J 23598/J 2241-11 Pilot
- J 22888-30 Puller Legs





1. Remove the left differential side bearing using the J 22888, the J 22888-30 and the J 23598/J 2241 -11.
2. Remove the ten differential ring gear bolts from the differential case.
3. Remove the differential ring gear from the differential case.
4. Remove the right differential side bearing from the differential case using the J 22888, J 22888-30 and the J 23598/J 2241 - 11.
5. Remove the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) ring using the J 22888 and the J 23598/J 2241-11.
6. Remove the following parts from the differential case.
^ The pinion shaft roll pin
^ The pinion shaft
^ The pinion gears
^ The pinion gear thrust washers
^ The side gears
^ The side gear thrust washers
