At Each Fuel Fill

ENGINE OIL LEVEL CHECK
The engine oil level indicator (dipstick) is located on the RH side of the engine, next to the coolant surge tank.

1. Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface.

NOTE: The engine oil must be WARM to obtain an accurate oil level reading.

2. Run the engine for 3 minutes to warm the engine oil.
3. Turn OFF the engine and allow the engine to cool for a minimum of 3 minutes.
4. Pull out the engine oil level indicator from the tube and wipe the oil level indicator clean with a paper towel or a clean, dry cloth.
5. Insert the oil level indicator into the tube and push down all the way.
6. Remove the oil level indicator again and keep the tip of the indicator down.
7. Check the engine oil level.
8. Add the proper oil if necessary.

ENGINE COOLANT LEVEL CHECK
Check the engine coolant level and add the proper coolant mix if necessary.

WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID LEVEL CHECK
Checking the windshield washer fluid level in the windshield washer tank is done by a level sensor and is indicated to the driver through the driver information center (DIC) display. Simply add the proper fluid when necessary.
