Generator Brace Replacement (Front)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the generator front brace nut at the engine.
2. Remove the generator front brace bolt.
3. Remove the generator front brace.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the generator front brace to the engine.
2. Install and hand tighten the generator front brace bolt.
3. Install and hand tighten the generator front brace nut at the engine.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Tighten the generator front brace nut.

Tighten
Tighten the generator front brace nut to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

5. Tighten the generator front brace bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the generator front brace bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
