Vacuum Modulator Pipe Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement Service and Repair.
2. Slide the conduit back from the vacuum modulator pipe connection at the vacuum modulator.





3. Disconnect the vacuum line from the upper intake manifold.
4. Disconnect the vacuum line from the vacuum modulator.
5. Remove the vacuum modulator pipe.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the vacuum modulator pipe.
2. Connect the vacuum line to the vacuum modulator.
3. Connect the vacuum line to the upper intake manifold.





4. Slide the conduit back over the vacuum modulator pipe connection at the vacuum modulator.
5. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement Service and Repair.
