Body Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the I/IP insulator.




3. Unsnap the BCM (3) from the HVAC duct bracket (1).
4. Disconnect the BCM electrical connectors (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Connect the BCM electrical connectors (2).
2. Snap the BCM (3) to the HVAC duct bracket (1).
3. Install the I/IP insulator.




4. Connect the negative battery cable.
