Removal Procedure





1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the vehicle speed sensor (2).





3. Remove the attaching bolt and the vehicle speed sensor.
4. Remove the vehicle speed sensor.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the vehicle speed sensor.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice In Service Precautions.

2. Install the vehicle speed sensor bolt.
^ Tighten the vehicle speed sensor bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





3. Install the electrical connector (1) on the vehicle speed sensor (2).
4. Lower the vehicle.
