Brake Fluid Level Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fluid level switch (1).





2. Disconnect the fluid level switch using needle nose pliers in order to compress the switch locking tabs (1) at the inboard side of the master cylinder.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the fluid level switch into the master cylinder reservoir (2) until the locking tabs (1) snap into place.





2. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the fluid level switch.
