Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the driver side sound insulator.
2. Remove the electrical connection (4).
3. Disconnect the brake switch (3) by grasping the switch and turning it 90 degrees counter clockwise while pulling toward the rear of the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Insert the stoplamp switch (3) into the retainer until the switch body is seated on the retainer.
2. Connect the electrical connector (4).
3. Adjust the stoplamp switch.
4. Install the driver's side sound insulator.
