Handling Refrigerant R-134A

The refrigerant drums have a heavy metal cap. The cap protects the following components from damage:
^ The valve
^ The safety plug
Ensure that you replace the cap after each use.

Whenever you carry a container of refrigerant in a vehicle, DO NOT carry the refrigerant in the passenger compartment. Refer to the Refrigerant Manufacturer's Guidelines for the following operations:
^ Storage
^ Transportation
^ Maximum temperature to where the container may be exposed

When you fill a small refrigerant drum from a large drum, do not fill the small drum completely. Ensure that you leave space for the liquid to expand.
