Inspection Procedure

Important:
^ Inspect the fluid level only when the engine is off. Ensure the vehicle is level. The transaxle must be cold.
^ The fluid level indicator must be fully seated during vehicle operation or leakage will occur at the vent plug.





1. Remove the fluid level indicator.
2. Read the fluid level indicator.
3. If the indicator reads ADD or below, fill the transaxle to FULL with synchromesh transaxle fluid GM P/N 12345349 or equivalent.
