Scan Tool Data Definitions - Check Engine Lamp State
The scan tool displays ON or OFF. When the engine Malfunction Indicator
Lamp
(MIL) is ON, the scan tool will display ON. When the engine MIL is OFF, the scan tool displays OFF.
