Compressor Oil Level Check

Up to 120 ml (4 fl oz) of oil can collect in the crankcase. When you replace a compressor, drain and measure the old compressor crankcase oil. Discard the oil after recording the amount.

All replacement compressors are shipped with approximately 240 ml (8 fl oz) of oil in the crankcase. Drain and retain this oil. Then, replace the oil with the same amount that you drained from the old compressor.
