Power Sliding Door Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the sliding side door lower trim panel.
2. Remove the lock rods from the sliding side door control assembly.




3. Remove the bolts (4) that retain the sliding side door control assembly to the sliding side door.
4. Remove the sliding side door control assembly (3) from the sliding side door.
5. Remove the sliding side door control assembly (3) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the sliding side door control assembly (3) to the vehicle.
2. Install the sliding side door control assembly (3) to the sliding side door.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the bolts (4) in order to retain the sliding side door control assembly (3) to the sliding side door.

Tighten
Tighten the retaining bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




4. Install the lock rods to the sliding side door control assembly.
5. Install the sliding side door lower trim panel.
