Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair





REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the two bolts (1) from the fuel tank pressure sensor.
4. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor from the fuel tank.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Install the fuel tank pressure sensor onto the fuel tank with the sensor terminals facing the fuel level sensor side.

1. Install the fuel tank pressure sensor to the fuel tank.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Secure the fuel tank pressure sensor with the two bolts (1).

Tighten
Tighten the two fuel tank pressure sensor bolts to 1.2 to 2.O N.m (11 to 18 lb in).

3. Connect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.
4. Install the fuel tank to the vehicle.
