Power Steering Pressure Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right engine mount.
2. Disconnect the power steering pressure (PSP) switch electrical connector.
3. Remove the PSP switch (1) from the power steering pump (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Component Tightening Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the PSP switch (1) with a new O-ring (2) to the power steering pump (3).

Tighten
Tighten the PSP switch to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

2. Connect the PSP switch electrical connector.
3. Install the right engine mount.
