Automatic Transmission

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) electrical connector (1).
2. Remove the one bolt (2) and the VSS (3) from the top of the transaxle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the VSS (3) to the transaxle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Secure the VSS with the one bolt (2).

Tighten
Tighten the VSS bolt to 8 N.m (72 lb in).

3. Connect the VSS electrical connector (1).
