PASSLOCK Reprogramming Seed and Key

You must perform a Passlock (TM) Learn Procedure it any of the following components have been replaced:
^ Passlock (TM) sensor
^ Body control module
^ Vehicle control module
^ Powertrain control module

All of the above modules except for the Passlock (TM) sensor must be programmed using their own vehicle configuration. See the individual module service manual section.

There are 2 types of Passlock learn procedures:
^ A 30 minute Auto Learn procedure which requires a scan tool used in order to clear codes.PASSLOCK Reprogramming Auto Learn
^ A 10 minute Seed and Key procedure which requires a Techline Terminal and a Tech 2 scan tool. This procedure is listed below:

Seed and Key - 10 Minute Procedure
1. Ensure that the battery is fully charged.
2. Select Service Programming on the Tech 2 screen, follow instructions.
3. Select Service Programming on the Techline Terminal and follow instructions.
