The TAP DOWN Function

1. In order for the TAP DOWN function to operate, the cruise control must be engaged and operating.
2. Tapping down is done by depressing the SET switch and immediately releasing it, or tapping the switch.
Do not hold the switch in the depressed position or the system will revert to the COAST mode.
3. TAP DOWN is a function in which cruise speed may be decreased by approximately 1.6 km/h (1 mph) increments.
One tap = 1.6km/h (1 mph).
4. The system can tap down to the low speed lockout of 40 km/h (25 mph). The cruise control will not operate below 40 km/h (25 mph).
