Keyless Entry Transmitter Battery: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Place the remote control door lock receiver transmitter face down on a clean surface.
2. Insert a small screwdriver into the slot on the bottom of the transmitter.
3. Carefully turn the screwdriver in the slot until the rear cover releases.




4. Remove the rear cover (1) while being careful not to damage the seal (4).
5. Remove the battery (2) from the transmitter (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the new battery (2) with the positive (+) side facing up.
2. Inspect that the seal (4) is properly positioned.
3. Snap the two halves together.




4. Verify that the remote control door lock receiver transmitter (3) is functioning correctly. If not, refer to Transmitter Programming. Service and Repair
