System Operation

The windshield washer system consists of the following components:
^ The washer solvent container which is shared with the rear window wiper system, if equipped
^ The windshield washer pump which is attached to the washer solvent container
^ The windshield washer nozzle hoses
^ The windshield washer nozzles
^ The windshield wiper/washer switch

The washer solvent container is mounted on the left fender behind the left headlamp. Actuate the windshield washer system by pulling the combination windshield wiper/washer lever toward the driver. The windshield washer will operate until you release the lever. When you activate the windshield washer system, the windshield wipers will operate at low speed regardless of the lever's position.
