Electronic Column Lock Module

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Disable the SIR system.

2. Remove the tilt lever. Refer to Tilt Lever Replacement

3. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement

4. Remove the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement (Cylinder Rotates) or Ign Lock CYL Replacement (Unable to Rotate Cylinder)

5. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Trim Covers-Disassemble in Off Vehicle Service

6. Remove the lock module assembly. Refer to Electronic Column Lock Module-Disassemble in Off Vehicle Service

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the lock module assembly. Refer to Electronic Column Lock Module-Assemble in Off Vehicle Service

2. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Trim Covers-Assemble in Off Vehicle Service

3. Install the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement (Cylinder Rotates) or Ign Lock CYL Replacement (Unable to Rotate Cylinder)

4. Install the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement

5. Install the tilt lever. Refer to Tilt Lever Replacement

6. Enable the SIR system.
