To Resume A Set Speed
Once
cruise control has been set at a desired speed with the SET button, the set speed is stored in the controllers memory. If the driver for any reason must apply the brake, cruise control will disengage. The cruise control may be reset in this manner, accelerate close to the desired speed (
25 mph (40 km/h) or more, move the
cruise control switch from ON to R/A (which stands for Resume/Accelerate) for about half a second. The vehicle will now accelerate to and resume the previously set speed. If either the ignition switch or the cruise ON/OFF switch is turned off, you will erase the cruise control memory.
