Control Assembly Bulb Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the heater control assembly.
Pull the heater control assembly out far enough in order to reach the control assembly lamp bulb socket.
2. Remove the lamp bulb and the socket.
3. Remove the lamp bulb from the socket. Pull the lamp bulb straight out from the socket.
4. Inspect the control assembly lamp bulb socket for corrosion and damage.
Clean or replace if necessary.
5. Inspect the wires for damage and secure the connection to the lamp bulb socket.
Repair or replace if necessary.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the new lamp bulb.
Push the lamp bulb straight into the socket.
2. Install the lamp bulb and the socket.
3. Install the heater control assembly.
4. Perform the heater function test. Refer to Function Test.
