SERVICE PORT VALVE CORE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 34611-A Valve Core Remover and Installer




1. Recover the refrigerant.
2. Remove the valve core using J 34611-A.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 34611-A Valve Core Remover and Installer

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the valve core using J 34611-A.

Tighten
Tighten the service core to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

2. Recharge the air conditioning (A/C) system.
3. Test the fitting for leaks.
