Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor: Description and Operation
The APP sensor is mounted on the accelerator pedal assembly. The APP is actually three individual
accelerator pedal position sensors within one housing. There are three separate signal, ground and reference circuits. The APP sensor voltage increases as the accelerator pedal is depressed.
