License Plate Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove license plate lamp assembly screws (3).
2. Remove lamp assembly (1).
3. Remove socket by turning counter clockwise.
4. Pull bulb out of socket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install bulb to lamp socket.
2. Install lamp socket to lamp assembly (1) by turning socket clockwise

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notices in Service Precautions

3. Install lamp assembly retaining screws (3).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 in lb).
