Cycle Outputs

Use a scan tool in order to cycle UTD output functions. The Special Functions feature will allow the scan tool can command the applicable system to cycle an output ON or OFF. This feature can be used to determine if the UTD system is causing the malfunction or if the system responsible for controlling that output is the cause. These outputs can be cycled regardless of the inputs or any specific program instructions. Once a test is selected, the scan tool will command a specific system to energize the selected output. The scan tool then displays the status of the selected output. The displayed information represents only what was commanded, not what action was actually taken. The following tables describes where to access scan tool special functions that are used in UTD operation.
