ENGINE COVER

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel lower extension. Refer to "Instrument Panel (I/P) Extension".
2. Remove the passenger seat from the vehicle in the 6.5L and the 7.4L engines. Refer to "Seat Replacement - Bucket".
3. Release the engine cover retaining straps.




4. Remove the engine cover from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the engine cover sealing strip is properly seated between the engine cover and the vehicle.




1. Install the engine cover to the vehicle.




2. Install the engine cover retaining straps.
3. Install the passenger seat to the vehicle in 6.5L and the 7.4L engines.
4. Install the instrument panel lower extension.
