Jack and Tool Stowage Container Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the passenger side rear corner trim panel. Refer toBody Rear Corner Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Body Rear Corner Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side) in Interior Trim.




2. Remove the nut (5) that retains the jack and tool container.
3. Remove the retainer (4) from the jack (2).
4. Remove the tool container (3) from the bracket (1).
5. Remove the jack (2) from the bracket (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the jack (2) into the bracket (1).
2. Connect the tool container (3) to the bracket (1).
3. Install the retainer (4) to the jack (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the nut (5) that retains the jack and tool container.

Tighten the jack and tool container retainer nut to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

5. Install the passenger side rear corner trim panel, if equipped. Refer to Body Rear Corner Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Body Rear Corner Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side) in Interior Trim.
