C60 A/C System Refrigerant Flow:

When the engine is OFF while the air conditioning system is operating, the refrigerant in the system flows from the high-pressure side of the expansion (orifice) tube (7) to the low pressure side until the pressure equalizes. This may be detected as a hissing sound for 30-60 seconds. The hissing is normal.
