Alarm Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.





1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fluid pressure alarm switch.
3. Remove the fluid pressure alarm switch from the vehicle by rotating the switch in a counter clockwise direction.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the fluid pressure alarm switch to the vehicle.
Tighten the fluid pressure alarm switch to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).
2. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure.
