Air Injection Control Valve: Service and Repair

Air Shut-Off Valve Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in Vehicle Lifting
2. Disconnect the vacuum line (1) from the shut-off valve.
3. Disconnect the inlet (3) and outlet (2) hoses from the shut-off valve by releasing the spring clamps.




4. Remove the shut off valve (3) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the inlet (3) and outlet (2) hoses to the shut-off valve by installing the spring clamps.




2. Install the vacuum line (1) to the shut-off valve.
3. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in Vehicle Lifting.
