Removal Procedure





1. Remove the lower instrument panel trim.
2. Remove the two screws securing the auto transfer case control module to the bracket (3).
The bracket is mounted on the UP reinforcement (1).
3. Remove the wiring harness (2) electrical connector from the auto transfer case control module.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the wiring harness (2) electrical connector to the auto transfer case control module.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the two screws securing the auto transfer case control module to the bracket (3).
The bracket is mounted on the I/P reinforcement (1).
Tighten the transfer case control module screws to 8 Nm (71 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the lower instrument panel trim.
