Keyless Entry System

The keyless entry system provides the following functions:
^ Locks the doors
^ Unlocks the doors
^ Releases the rear compartment lid of the vehicle
^ Provides sustained interior illumination

Sustained interior illumination includes a feature called theater dimming. Theater dimming slowly dims the lights at the end of the delay time. The delay time is cancelled if you turn the ignition key to RUN or START. This action will turn off the lamps.

When the ignition is ON, the sustained interior illumination is inactive. The courtesy lamps will not illuminate.

The keyless entry system operates on a frequency that is subject to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules. The device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation of the device is subject to the following 2 conditions:
^ The device may not cause harmful interference.
^ The device must accept any interference that it receives, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
