Set Position

Perform the following steps in order to set the cruise speed:
1. Ensure that the vehicle speed exceeds the low speed lockout point.
2. Place the ON/OFF switch in the ON position.
3. Depress and then release the SET/DECEL switch. The cruise speed will be set at the particular speed the vehicle was at when the switch was released. The vehicle cruise speed will be within 0.62 km/h (1 mph) of the actual speed when you engage the switch and after the speed has stabilized. You may not set the cruise speed with the Resume button.

The system will cruise until any one of the following actions occurs:
^ The On/Off switch is moved to OFF.
^ The ignition switch is turned OFF.
^ The Set/Decel switch is pushed in and fully held.
^ The brake pedal is depressed. (Pushing the brake pedal releases the cruise, but not the cruise capability.)
