Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair




Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (4 Door) (Front Side Door Window Replacement (4 Door))Front Side Door Window Replacement (2 Door) (Front Side Door Window Replacement (2 Door)).




2. Pull the water deflector far enough away from the door in order to gain access to the 6 regulator retaining screws (1).
3. Remove the 6 screws (1) that retain the regulator.
4. Remove the regulator through the large opening in the door panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Apply a multipurpose grease to all of the lubrication and sliding points (2) on the regulator (1).




2. Install the regulator to the door. Secure the regulator with 6 screws (1).
3. Apply adhesive to the back of the water deflector.
4. Return the water deflector to its normal position.
5. Install the front window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (4 Door) (Front Side Door Window Replacement (4 Door))Front Side Door Window Replacement (2 Door) (Front Side Door Window Replacement (2 Door)).
