Refrigerant Oil Distribution Specifications

If the refrigerant oil was removed from the A/C system during the recovery process or during the component replacement, the refrigerant oil must be replenished. Add the refrigerant oil as indicated.

A/C Compressor 60 ml (2oz)
Condensor 30 ml (1 oz)
Evaporator 90 ml (3 oz)
Accumulator 30 ml (1 oz plus amount removed)


Abrupt oil loss due to a large refrigerant leak

Add 3 oz (90 ml) plus the required amount for the component being replaced because of the large, abrupt leak.

Refrigerant Oil type is Polyalkylene Glycol (PAG)
