Heater Core: Service and Repair

HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT






REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the heat/vent module. Service and Repair
2. Remove the heater core access cover screws.
3. Remove the heater core access cover.






4. Remove the heater core from the heat/vent module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE






1. Install the heater core in the heat/vent module.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.






2. Install the heater core access cover.

TIGHTEN
Tighten the heater core access cover screws to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in).
